Cold angel: the story of the first Russian supermodel Olga Pantyushenkova, who passed away at the age of 4403.09.2022
Without a doubt, absolutely all young girls dream of fame and a beautiful life. But Pantyushenkova was not one of the dreamers – all the more, her mother believed in her and supported any undertakings.
The most charming and attractive
In the late 1980s, the first beauty contests began to be held in the USSR. Together with her mother, Olga went to all kinds of castings that took place in their native Leningrad, and also attended auditions in modeling agencies that opened like mushrooms after rain.
The fragile 15-year-old blonde instantly attracted the attention of the jury with her atypical, “cold” beauty. First, she became a participant in the local competition “Film-photo-video model – 1989”, and soon received an invitation from the organizing committee of the most prestigious beauty competition of those times – “USSR Supermodel – 1991”.
