“We need to prepare for the courts”: Shatunov’s heirs risk losing their homes and accounts in Germany25.06.2022
What Yuri Shatunov sang about in his song – running on rooftops, chasing pigeons – did not exist in his childhood. He got into an orphanage early, and it was there that his path to all-Union glory began.
As a teenager, Shatunov became a real sex symbol of the country, and earned more than Pugacheva – he could get 50 rubles for one concert, and Primadonna – 34.
He gave all his best on the stage to the fullest, generously signed autographs for fans and accepted white roses from their hands, as well as notes with declarations of love and requests to marry.
Yuri, of course, did not answer them, and girls from all over the country wondered: what was wrong with the idol, why is he still alone? But it turned out that Shatunov’s heart had been occupied since the noughties, but he zealously guarded his happiness from prying eyes.
In 2000, in between concerts, the artist left to study as a sound engineer in Germany. There, on the street, he met a girl named Svetlana and fell in love at first sight.
They met for seven years, and then had a quiet wedding, after which their son Dennis was born almost immediately, and a few years later, daughter Estella.
